- Michael Blake Artist Exhibition now on display at the
Gathering. The show will remain through the end of September. Invite friends to the next Final Friday gallery event in Over-the-Rhine on September 24 from 6 to 9 pm.

- TheGathering Serves our Community – the Freestore. Please hold the following date to help serve our local food bank The Freestore: Saturday, September 18th, from 9 am – 12 pm. Another upcoming date is Saturday, October 9. Thanksgiving serving opportunity: Wednesday, November 24th from

- The Gathering Serves Dinner at the Anthony House: We will once again cook and serve dinner to
approximately 30 homeless young adults on September 8th. If you are interested in helping or in lending your kitchen for the meal preparation, please contact Debbie Bennett, dbennett@lys.org.

- The Gathering Night at the Reds Game: Ten
members of the congregation cheered for the Reds on Friday, July 16th. We even said a “prayer” for the Reds as they faced a bases loaded and no out
situation by the Colorado Rockies – and it worked! The Reds went on to win and all was due to our prayer….we joke, ofcourse, but fun was had by all.
- Gathering at Cincinnati Gay Pride Parade – July 4, 2010. Several members of the congregation marched in the parade which ended at Fountain Square downtown. Many folks commented on our signs and great looking shirts!
